Vision Budapest ‘09

This year the Lord has given us the vision for starting a new church in the city of Budapest. It’s our heart to see the gospel go out to every home in this city of over 2 million people- so this summer we are going to be doing two weeks of outreach in a part of the city called Kispest. Our prayer is that many people will get saved and the Lord will establish a new church.

The Lord brought together many of the pieces for this to happen including…

Our worship leader Mike believing that God wanted us to put on some type of a music festival this summer- Mike will be putting concerts together using the many great Hungarian Christian bands here in Hungary

Mark Zeeman has sensed that the Lord wanted to do something different with the choir this season that involved more outreach in the city so we plan on utilizing the choir at one of our concert events.

One member of the church, Geza Gergely, has a heart for reaching the city and the administrative gifts to be the logistical coordinator (muy importante!)

Right now we are just trying to step into the opportunities that God seems to be opening. The Lord is blessing Calvary Budapest in amazing ways and yet there are still so many more people to reach.
